Affiliate programs are marketing tools used by vendor sites such as amazon.com. Basically, you need to sign-up for the program and they will give you an affiliate ID number. You will receive instructions on how to create links to their website from your own website or written article. You can even create links to specific products on their website. When a person clicks on the link you made, the vendor site takes note of the reference number and your ID number. If the customer buys from the vendor, you are given a commission.

In short, you promote their website and products. Once you have it set up, you just wait for the money to come in. Also, affiliates get discounts and bonuses based in the quantity of traffic that they are able to direct to the vendor site.

Autoresponders are the answering machines of the internet. Say, you have a number of products on the internet up for sale. These products are technologically challenging to most people so you will need to provide detailed information on how to operate and maintain the devices.

If you do this on your website, chances are you will have a design problem since this will require large amounts of space on the webpage. With autoresponders, you can place a link for all the nitty-gritty stuff and a pre-composed email message will be sent to the one who requested it. You can place a form where they can write down their email address and place the link below it. You will need to do the pre-composing of those automatic replies too.

Autoresponders can be used in many ways. Aside from answering queries for detailed information requests, autoresponders can also be used as correspondence trackers. Different websites offer autoresponders with different functions. Some of these sites offer autoresponder services for free.

If you happen to have an existing website, you can correspond with another website to have your banner placed on their site. In exchange, you will need to accommodate their banner on your site. The same is true for links. You can place a link to another site while the webmaster of that site can place a link to your site. If you don’t have a banner, you can search for free or paid banner maker utilities in the web.

Internet classified adds are an available option for promoting your website. Some classified ads websites give away their services for free.

If you want to become a big vendor site, the way to go about it is through e-commerce. This entails setting up shopping carts for your customers so they can note down their orders. You will also need to analyze your payment system. Of course, you will need to accept payments from major credit cards but you can allow or deny payments made by check, paypal or money order.

Electronic magazine or E-zines are newsletters that get sent regularly to a list of e-mail recipients. These recipients are subscribed to the E-zine so spamming is not an issue. You need to have an article about your product handy and several links embedded within it just in case the subscriber decides he wants your pocket knife.

With mailing lists, you send out a bunch of emails to a target audience. This is where spam usually comes from. One form of mailing list let’s the consumer decide whether he/she wants to be in your mailing list. This is called the opt-in mailing list. I like this list.

There are still a number of money making ideas and utilities that have not been covered here. To tell you frankly, there are just too many of them to mention. Why not browse around and take a look for yourself. Researching and reading material can be a tedious a process, but the knowledge that you gain it from it might be just what you need to set-up or improve your own internet business.

While there are many money makers out there, beware of those that claim to be able to teach you how to earn yourself thousands in a single week. For one thing, they charge you for it before you can even try.

Educating Through Video

June 15, 2009 By: admin Category: Internet Marketing, Residual Income

People from third-world or developing countries who want to get updated or advanced education from industrialized nations are having a hard time, mostly because of immigration or visa requirements.

This is much is true in countries like Japan, the United States and the United Kingdom, whose immigration qualifications are very stringent. In some countries, the United States requires that a certain amount be placed in trust as a bond to ensure that visitors do return to their countries of origin.

Educators in these developed countries recognize the desire of foreign students to avail themselves of superior standards in education. This is where the internet becomes a central tool in global, quality education.

If you go online today, you will find plenty of colleges, universities and even Ivy League institutions offering online education ranging from certification, degree, post graduate and doctorate level courses. These online schools and universities are certainly convenient for those who cannot enter developed countries due to lack of qualifications for visa approval requirements.

In the domestic front, these online schools become an alternative to the physically handicapped or mentally ill. For people with motor dysfunctions such as Parkinson’s disease, online education becomes a saving grace in their lives. It not only becomes convenient, but it also provides these people with a connection to the world right in their own homes.

Having the burden of education addressed by the internet is a convenience for the operators of care facilities as they can exclusively use these online schools for the education of their patients or as extra sources and materials used in their curriculum.

With all of these in mind, new materials and tools for online instruction need to be developed. Foremost among these necessary tools is audio and video streaming through the internet. Audio-video streaming allows for two people to instantly communicate from distinctly separate locations. An instructor can use the internet to talk to his or her student face to face, so to speak.

One thing our educators agree upon is that there is no better teacher than experience. In recent years, companies started manufacturing educational videos for use by infants. By using these video, infants are projected to start learning at an earlier age than before.

Because of the audio-video experience, the attention given to these videos by an infant is considerably more than they would give to a children’s book. In being able to grab attention and interest, the video succeeds in educating the mind of the child.

In the same manner, the use of audio and video in the education of older children, juveniles and adults is a more interesting and entertaining experience than a plain chemistry book. With a person actually able to see the animated structure of an atom, the curiosity of that individual is stimulated. When people become curious, their imagination becomes active and they strive to gather more information about the subject.

This is where the importance of education through video lies. The content (assuming that it is interesting) grabs the viewers’ attention and stirs their curiosity, thereby stimulating a thirst for knowledge.

As internet audio-video streaming technology improves, the more use they will become to online educational institutions. People who have knowledge of how to install and use these utilities are quickly becoming assets to many entrepreneurs, especially those businesses that are situated in the internet.

The use of video streaming technology by websites has ballooned significantly. Even websites designed by amateurs and those people who have their own blog sites are starting to sprout videos. Video streaming is starting to grow. You might want to grow with it.

Internet Marketing is a Breeze

June 15, 2009 By: admin Category: Internet Marketing, Marlon Sanders

If you’ve been following Internet marketing for any period of time you’ve noticed that the rate at which new products come out is almost like a fireworks show.

Everyone sits back and goes “ooh and aah” and buys the latest, hottest and greatest new products, but it’s easy to feel confused or overwhelmed — and in the end you can’t decide which model to follow, or what the heck to do!

There’s only 1 product that boils down what you need to do and how you need to do it into a simple “point, click and follow the steps” system.

That product is The Marketing Dashboard

You may actually want to call it the “Money Dashboard”  because what it’s going to do is give you simple steps and actions to take to get products ready to sell, promoted, sold, delivered and the money banked. You can either sit back and watch the fireworks show and keep going “ooh and aah” or pick 1 model proven to work and just do it.

The Marketing Dashboard is built on one of the simplest and oldest models, which is to find out what people want to buy, get it or create it, then promote it and profit from it.

If you’ve been sitting around saying you need to get something done or need to get a product out or you wish that some day the ebooks you bought on Internet marketing would somehow magically turn into money or if you’re frustrated waiting for your search engine pages to finally, maybe, possibly get some darn traffic, then maybe it’s time you stopped making excuses and just get it done.

Here’s the formula: Dashboard = Get It Done

Design Dashboard Q&A

June 14, 2009 By: admin Category: Internet Marketing, Marlon Sanders

Here are some questions you may have about the
Design Dashboard

QUESTION ONE:
Is this just for designing web sites? Or can it help me (or my assistant) do graphics for blogs, landing pages, affiliate pre-sell pages, ebook covers and
Power Point presentations?

ANSWER:
It’ll help you with anything you need to do
graphics for. Even if you outsource, it’s GREAT to be able to whip something out in a hurry when you don’t have time to wait.

QUESTION TWO:
Is this something I can REALLY do without sweating bullets and going through the learning curve?

ANSWER:
ONLY if you have “The Design Dashboard.” If you don’t, yeah, it’s gonna be a real pain. But with the Design Dashboard, you have step-by-step screen caps that make doing things a breeze. Plus, video where needed.

QUESTION THREE: Why would I need this if I use templates?

ANSWER: 1. A blog header with graphics looks better than a plain one. You have the chance to do a little branding.

2. Templates for Power Point are just backgrounds. What about graphics that illustrate your point?

3. If you buy the SAME templates from the same places everyone else does, will YOU break through the noise?

4. With just a little skill and the right software, you can create some GREAT graphics for affiliate pre-sell pages.

5. There ARE programs that create ebook covers but they don’t do the GRAPHICS FOR the covers in most cases. The Design Dashboard serves many purposes.

QUESTION FOUR: How much is the software gonna ding me for?

ANSWER: $100 or less for the graphics software. If you want to add flash audio buttons to your site, you can spend $27 to $100 for that software, but SAVE $20 a month vs. what most people do.

In other words, if you do just ONE graphic header in 2007 yourself instead of outsourcing it, you paid for it.

QUESTION FIVE: Why learn to do design when I can outsource it?

ANSWER: 1. You may not get the special treatment and same quality that “gurus” receive.

2. Talented designers sometimes get booked up for weeks.
What if you need it sooner rather than later?

3. Once you see how easy it is to do graphics, you’ll probably find yourself doing at least SOME stuff yourself when you’re in a hurry.

4. Outsourcing is great. But you may want to only outsource when you need that special touch and do bread-and-butter stuff yourself.

5. You can have your ASSISTANT use the Design Dashboard and do stuff for you. It can be your training tool for THEM.

QUESTION SIX: What will the Design Dashboard do for me?

ANSWER: 1. You can design GRAPHICS for blogs, landing pages, affiliate pre-sell pages, ebook covers, power points.

2. Above and beyond that, there are step-by-step instructions for your sales letter (if you need one), ftp, shopping cart and other stuff. This is ONLY for the people who need it. You can use all the design part even if you don’t need THOSE things. But it’s nice to know they’re there if you need them.

3. You will save money.

Other programs use software that isn’t mainstream and may not keep up with the times. Plus, you can’t buy any books on it at the bookstore. Or they use Photoshop CS which is $650 or $750 USD. Then, for html, they use Dreamweaver, which sets you back more. I could go on and on. I’ve stripped out every possible cost.

4. You will save time

I know you have 1,000 things to do. Even watching videos takes TIME. That’s why I’ve used as many screen caps as I can. Learning from them is faster than video. But I’ve used video where it made learning faster.

5. You will avoid a painful, full-blown learning curve

The worse thing about software is the learning curve. I’ve taken out the learning curve and JUST given you the steps you need to know.

Marketing With Video

June 13, 2009 By: admin Category: Internet Marketing

Using streaming videos in the internet as a form of marketing is a relatively new approach. Currently, most marketing brochures and newsletters are using text and pictures in combination to attract a consumer’s attention.

Some pictures are a combination of still and animated objects to better the chances of attracting a prospective customer. But, if there is anything advertisers and consumers have learned about marketing, television advertisements are still the best way to attract attention for a product and keep it in the consumer’s memory.

To fully understand why internet streaming videos are the next step in online marketing, we need to be able to grasp the objective of advertisers and the effects of the different methods of advertising.

To begin with, online advertising began mainly with newsletters in the form of emails or pop-up screens containing pure text and some inanimate pictures. As internet users became more and more accustomed to surfing the WWW, these newsletters and pop-up advertisements gradually turned into annoyances.

Marketing newsletters started to look like junk mail and pop-up screens became similar to billboard advertisements that you see everyday. Also, pop-up screens disturbs the rhythm of internet surfing.

There you are browsing away when you see a link or article which you decide to follow or read. Just as you are about to click on it or just as you are in the middle of reading it, the pop-up appears and displaces your current browser window behind it.

In short, these common forms of advertising soon became major annoyances in most cases that anti virus software developers soon added anti pop-up features in their products thereby drastically reducing the number of consumers that these pop-ups were able to reach.

To add emphasis to the drive against pop-up advertising windows, Mozilla developed a built-in anti-pop up utility into their web browser, Firefox. Just as the pop-window is about to open, Firefox immediately denies the opening of this new browser window.

Nowadays, I rarely see pop-up screens on my computer when I browse the WWW.

As far as email newsletters and advertisements are concerned, a similar phenomenon is occurring where they have suddenly evolved into what is known as junk mail or spam mail in internet language.

Again, anti-virus protection software creators incorporated spam mail protection within their software while numerous sites in the internet make available free, downloadable anti-spam software.

The biggest blow to spam mail marketing was when e-mail providers decided to add anti-spam or spam blocking utilities in their website. As a result of these measures against pop-ups and spam messaging, an avenue in internet marketing is about to close.

This is where streaming video comes in. It is undisputed that television commercials are still the best way to attract attention. The advertiser needs to make the product look good in TV, but their primary objective is to attract the consumer’s attention.

Their second goal is to make the video memorable enough so that the customer remembers the brand name when they have need of the product. The most famous brand names like Marlboro succeeded in their advertising campaign videos so much so that people still remember the Marlboro man.

In this advertisement, the first thing you see are wild horses running. This is quite an attention drawer since lots of people like horses even when they haven’t seen one in person.

The main advantage of videos is their ability to instill curiosity in a person. An apt demonstration of this ability is when people are seen stopping at display windows of stores that have television displays in them.

When you see a moving picture, you are immediately interested in what it is all about and what will happen next. Even if you don’t stop in front of the display, you will spare a glance or two. The uncanny part is this, in the instant that you see people gathered in front of something you haven’t seen yet, you will take time to look to satisfy your curiosity.

However, if that display happens to be in your own neighborhood, you will gradually get accustomed to it and begin to ignore it.

This is the strength of internet marketing through streaming videos. It immediately grabs attention. The only thing that you as an advertiser have to do is to make the video interesting enough that it maintains or improves on that initial level of interest.

When the video is old enough to become common place, you replace it with a new one. Unlike pop-ups or spam messages or newsletters, they cannot become an annoyance because the first thing it does is to grab the consumer’s attention and curiosity.

With the use of videos, the consumer gets a clear picture of what your product or idea is all about. This is an added bonus to the attention grabbing feature of using videos for your marketing or advertising campaigns.

When a consumer knows what you and your product are all about, they can begin to trust you. After all, having the trust of your customer’s is better than the bottom line. A trusting customer is one who will patronize all your product lines. As good as your advertising video is, it is still the quality of your product that matters in the end.

To make a video interesting enough, try to place some humor and social relevance into them. You also need to make your customers feel a need or craving for your product.

This is especially true for entrepreneurs who wish to create a niche for their product line. A good video advertisement will pull in people more than newsletters, pop-up windows or spam messages will.

Traffic Methods for Affiliates

June 12, 2009 By: admin Category: Internet Marketing

Affiliate program participants rely on sales to make money with affiliate programs. The only thing is that many new participants forget that they also need to rely on website traffic.

After all, without traffic, no one will be able to see your affiliate products, let alone buy them. That is why, if you are in an affiliate program, you need to work on increasing your traffic. There are a number of steps that you can take to increase your traffic, three of these steps are outlined below.

1. SEO
If you are an established webmaster, you likely already know what SEO is. If not, you need to familiarize yourself with it right away. SEO, which is also known as search engine optimization, may have an important impact on the success of your website, even its failure.

The goal of search engine optimization (SEO) is to increase your search engine ranking. Having a high search engine ranking increases your chances of seeing traffic from search engines. Search engine optimization encompasses a number of different methods, but one of the most important is content.

You need to have content on your website; it is what search engines pickup. You will also want to use keyword tracking tools; they enable you to determine what keyword phrases internet users are searching with. Using those keyword phrases on your website is sure to increase your website traffic.

2. Article Distribution
Have you heard of article directories before? Article directories are websites that act as hosts for collections of articles. They often contain a large collection of articles, sometimes even millions of articles. In exchange for providing your content free of charge, article directories will allow you to insert a link at the end of your article.

This link should direct readers to your online website, namely the page that outlines the affiliate products that you are selling. Not only will it help to increase your website traffic, but your sales may also increase.

When it comes to submitting to article directories, which is often referred to as articles distribution, you are advised to create yourself a schedule. To effectively use article distribution, you need to submit multiple articles.

In fact, the more articles the better. You should create a goal for yourself, like submitting at least five articles a month. It is also important that you create content that is relevant to your website. If it is not, your readers might not click on your clink; thus defeating the purpose of submitting to article directories.

3. Blogging
Over the past few years, the popularity of blogging has skyrocketed. In addition to personal blogs, a large number of online businesses are now relying on blogs to help increase their website traffic and you can too. Blogs are nice because you are given choices. You can create your own, free blog or you can pay to have your blog hosted on your own domain name.

When creating a blog, you can create your own content, which may include product reviews or recommendations. In fact, you don’t even have to write your own content. You can use content from many free article directories; many will give you free usage rights. Speaking of article directories, if you submitted your own articles, you can even use them for your blog. The only thing you need to remember is to link back to your original webpage. Doing so in each blog post will help to increase your traffic.

The above mentioned three traffic increasing steps are just a few of the many that you can take. These three; however, are a few of the easiest ways that you can go about increasing your website traffic. With a small amount of effort, you can easily see an increase in traffic, in what seems like no time at all. In fact, you will not only see an increase in traffic, but you may also see an increase in your affiliate sales.

Stop Trading Time

June 10, 2009 By: admin Category: Internet Marketing, Marlon Sanders, Residual Income

Stop Trading Time …

Stop Trading Time for Dollars and Start Trading Products

The Info Product Dashboard
Here’s the concept.  It’s very simple:

1.  You either trade time for dollars, or products for dollars

2.  Marlon walks you through a simple, doable, step-by-step process for creating your own info product in about 20-30 minutes per day, 6 days a week over a 6 week period.

3.  How do you eat an elephant?  One bite at a time. That’s  what the Info Product Dashboard does. It breaks it down into one bite at a time.

Now, it isn’t all fun and games.  There ARE legitimate obstacles you have to overcome.

KEY OBSTACLES:

Obstacle 1: I want to create my own info product but I’m NOT an expert at anything.

Solution:  Marlon shows you step-by-step how to use the knowledge of OTHER experts to create your first info product.

Obstacle 2:  I don’t have money to pay experts

Solution:  Marlon shows you a secret source to get experts to create his products with him — at ZERO cost. Zero!

In some cases, you may pay experts a relatively modest sum.  But he’s going to show you a killer way to get experts to co-create info products with you and they won’t charge you a dime!

Obstacle 3:  Creating an info product is hard work and takes forever.

Solution:  If you have 20-30 minutes a day, just follow Marlon’s step-by-step instructions, screen caps and videos.

Obstacle 4:  I’m a newbie and don’t know what topic to produce a product on.

Solution:  In the Info Product Dashboard, Marlon’ll give you a few very simple things you can do to find a good topic.  You don’t need a million things to do.  He boils it down and gives you just a few that work.

Obstacle 5:  I don’t have money for recording equipment, software and all that jazz.

Solution:  Marlon’s eliminated virtually every expense possible.  Most
everything can be done without money.  He gives the free resources and then, if appropriate, a paid resource, if the paid one is what he personally uses.  That way, if you don’t have money, you can use the free one. If you DO have money, you can use what he personally uses in his own business.

Obstacle 6:  Where will I find these experts?  I don’t know where to find them.

Solution:  Marlon shows you his secret resources and places they hang out at.  Of course, you may have friends, family, acquaintances or others who will allow you to borrow their knowledge.

Obstacle 7:  “I don’t have a lot of money to order a bunch of CD’s.”

Solution:  You can delivery digitally. Marlon shows you how, gives you templates, the whole ball of wax.  But if you WANNA do a CD, he gives a place that will do a quantity as low as ONE at a great price, AND ship the CD for you.  There are no barriers here to people who own the Info Product Dashboard.

Obstacle 8:  I don’t know how to do video and I can’t afford Camtasia.

Solution:  Marlon shows you how to create video to supplement your products with using a free software program.  Video is a very nice addition to a product.  And he makes it easy and cheap for you.

Obstacle 9:  I can’t afford Sound Forge to edit AUDIO with.  How do I create audio?

Solution:  Marlon shows you how to do it easy with a free program.

Obstacle 10:  “I hate reading a bunch of long, drawn out stuff.”

Solution:  Marlon shows what to do and HOW to do it without any filler or fluff. This is an ACTION system.

But he also shows you secret places to find people most don’t know about. Including ONE that gets a WHOPPING 30% success rate when the right email is sent.  The exact word-for-word email is one of the fast action bonuses he offers.  Oh, he gives you the SOURCE of these experts also.

You have a decision in life.

Do you want to trade your TIME for dollars?

Or do you want to trade PRODUCTS for dollars?

Affiliate Traffic Tricks

June 09, 2009 By: admin Category: Internet Marketing, Residual Income

With affiliate programs, you can easily sell products without even having to have the product in your hand.  As nice as it sounds, you still need to have you own website; it is a requirement for many affiliate programs.

Having a website is ideal, but to really make money with affiliate programs, you need to have a website that receives a relatively high amount of traffic.  If you would like to increase the amount of traffic that your website sees, you should examine newsletters. They are a great way to increase website traffic.

Before examining how newsletters can help you increase your websites traffic, it is best that you first understand newsletters.  When it comes to understanding newsletters, there tends to be a little bit of confusion.  Newsletters come in a number of different shapes, sizes, and styles; they are all used for different purposes.

Newsletters are essentially emails that are sent to those who have requested to receive them.  Some use newsletters solely to update their customers and other uses them just as means of regular communication.  Despite a variation in purposes, one the most common uses of a newsletter is to
increase traffic.

One of the most common questions asked, concerning email newsletters is “why?”  A large number of individuals, namely affiliate program participants, wonder why they should even bother writing and then distributing a newsletter.

In all honesty, there are an unlimited number of reasons why you should
write and distribute newsletters to those who are interested in receiving them.  The number one reason is because you can do it as little or as often as you want.

Many webmasters only send out newsletters as often as their time allows them to do so.  It is also important to note that your newsletter content can be whatever you want it to be.  In fact, you may even want to think about tying in your affiliate program or the products that you are selling.

In conjunction with an affiliate program or an affiliate product tie in, you can not only use newsletters to increase your website traffic, but also to promote your affiliate products; products that you are responsible to help sell.

You can do this by writing a quick review or recommendation of the products or products that you are helping to sell.  If you haven’t tried the
product yourself, you may want to try and find other internet users who have.  Most of the time, you will find that many internet users are more than willing to write a quick review, just for the sake of helping others.

If you are an article writer or if you enjoy writing, you may want to write your own newsletters.  If you are not an article writer or if you are, but you just don’t have the time to produce you own newsletters, you don’t have to.

There are a number of alternatives for you to choose from.  One of the
easiest alternatives is to pay a professional to write your newsletter for you.  If you are looking for a free way to make a newsletter, you are urged to examine article directories.

Many article directories give out free usage rights for their articles. This means that you can easily find newsletter content, that you didn’t write, without having to spend a dime!

When using article directories, it is advised that you use articles that are, in one way or another, related to your website or the affiliate products that you are helping to sell.

As you can see, there are a number of reasons why you should at least think about writing and disturbing a newsletter.  In addition to those reasons, there are also an unlimited number of benefits to using newsletters to your advantage.

Whether you make the decision to write your own newsletters, hire a
professional, or use free content from article directories, you are urged to give newsletters a chance.  In the end, you might be surprised just how effective they are.

Fast Search Engine Rankings

June 08, 2009 By: admin Category: Internet Marketing, Uncategorized

Blog = Fast SE Rankings

If you run a site and are looking to get it listed quickly on search engines, there really is no easier and quicker way than to also put a blog on the site. It is a known fact that search engine spiders from sites like Google and Altavista list new blogs much faster than they list new sites.

However, it’s not as simple as just creating a blog and letting it sit there. You
have to also use tactics like pinging, linking and the use of keywords. We’ll go over each so that you are able to effectively use your blog for a quick site listing. We’ll also briefly go over how to host your own blog on your site.

So how do I host my own blog, anyway?

The easiest way to do this is to install and run a blogging software from another company on your web site’s server. One such software that is popular is WordPress. It’s fairly easy to install and works pretty good on your site. Other blogging software options include:
Apache Roller
Blosxom
Geeklog
Textpattern
LifeType

Whatever one you choose, be sure to follow the instructions provided by the company so that the installation goes smoothly.

Where should I put my blog on my site?

Most people who host their blog to help their site get listed quickly don’t put the blog on the main page of the site, because the site isn’t all about the blog. Instead they put it in its own folder at mysite.com/blog/. But you can really put your blog anywhere on your site, so it’s your call.

What is pinging?

It’s a question that many ask, so don’t feel silly if you don’t know what pinging is. Pinging is essentially a tracking program installed on your blog that will notify the site which it is from whenever your blog is updated.

Search engine spiders usually visit newly pinged sites most often, which is why pinging is such a crucial part of the equation to get your site listed quickly. Sites that are newly “pinged” will be visited by search engine spiders. A visit from the spider equals a listing on the search engine.

How do I get pinging on my blog?

You’ll have to register with a site that offers weblog pinging. The most popular pinging program around is weblogs.com. Other programs offered include Yahoo’s Blo.gs, BlogRolling, and Technorati.

Once you’ve decided on a pinging service, you’ll have to follow the instructions to install it on your blog. When you’ve done that, your blog will start getting pinged and visited by search engine spiders.

What is linking?

Linking is basically having another blog or site link to your blog. When search engine spiders visit that site and see a link to your site, they’ll visit your site. Linking is effective both for sites with blogs and those without it.

How do I get linking?

You get it by visiting sites/blogs that are relevant to what your site is about. Then you contact the owners of those sites/blogs, asking them to post a link to your site on their site. In return, you will probably have to link to their site on your site. That way, both of you are able to benefit from the
linking.

Why is the use of keywords important to my blog?

Spiders love to visit sites with a good amount of keywords. People who read your site won’t mind the use of keywords if they are lightly spread throughout the content of your pages. The key to this is to make a list of keywords relevant to your blog posting and then to try to use those keywords throughout your content.

It is important to make sure, however, not to overuse keywords. Spiders have been trained to ignore sites with excessive amounts of keywords, so if you use a whole lot of keywords in the hopes of getting spiders to visit your site, it’s not going to do you any good.

Generally speaking, using between 2-6 keywords per 200 word piece of content is a good ratio. It’s pleasing to both readers and search engine spiders.

That’s really all there is to it. Apply the above techniques to your blog and you will net your site a quick search engine listing.

There is no quicker way to get your site listed than to use a blog. So install a blog on your site today and you’ll be listed sooner than you could have imagined!
